Felix Jones Traded to Pittsburgh

Felix Jones was not making this team. He’s noticeably shifted from having a top notch burst to being a top notch bust over the course of this preseason and the Eagles have treated him accordingly. He has been traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers for linebacker Adrian Robinson.

This is a simple player for player deal that benefits both sides. The Steelers get more competition at running back after starter Le’Veon Bell came down with a Lisfranc injury this week. The Eagles get a another 3-4 linebacker who played in 12 games for the Steelers last year as a special teamer.  All in all a simple and practical move on both sides.
