Despite a very important win over the Capitals last night, there is some bad news for the Flyers.

Forward Max Talbot broke his leg as he tried to check Capitals defenseman Mike Green and missed. He will be donated to create more glue. He’s now out indefinitely, which is a nice kick in the pants for a team that needs all of their players at top form to make a playoff push.

So, with Talbot out, it seems that there are already some conversations about making a trade to replace him.

One of those names is Jaromir Jagr, who left this past offseason to play with the Dallas Stars. The 41 year-old Jagr would be a logical fit given that he’s a well-liked player in the Flyers locker room and has produced 26 points on the season.

Other players included as being part of discussions are defenseman Jay Bouwmeester of Calagary and forward Ryane Clowe of San Jose.

The trade deadline is April 3rd so stay tuned for updates over the next few days. The Flyers will certainly be mentioned in a number of more rumors.
